These pictures were taken in the back yard of the Bodoc house.  Steve Bordelon had recently installed the martin house and on Wednesday morning we had raised it by about two feet.  The martins appeared early on Thursday morning!  A starling is visiting the house but, hopefully, the martins will chase it away.

The mockingbird graciously posed for me by remaining on the metal pole long enough for me to take the pictures. 

The pictures were taken by holding the digital camera (Olympus D-450 Zoom, in macro mode) to the eyepiece of my telescope.
